Field Trips

The town of Mendota was an important place in 19th-century Minnesota. The center of the region's fur trade, Mendota was also the home of Henry Sibley, fur trader, U.S.-Dakota War general and Minnesota's first governor.
Sibley Historic Site tours are the perfect complement to a visit to Historic Fort Snelling. Book both sites and receive a discount.
