The North West Company Fur Post is handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs are available for visitor use.
Free onsite parking is available for cars and buses.
The visitor center houses a gift store
with books, gifts and toys related to the fur trade, Ojibwe history and nature. Unique items include an extensive collection of books and trade silver.
There are no dining facilities on site. Bottled water, chips, nuts and granola are available in the visitor center. Picnic tables and a picnic shelter are available.
Strollers & Diaper Changing Facilities
We do not have strollers available. The visitor center restroom is equipped with diaper changing facilities.

Service animals, such as guide dogs are permitted. Pets are not allowed.
The site is equipped with both first aid kits and AEDs. Please see a staff person for assistance. All managers are trained in first aid/CPR/AED use.
