Plan a Visit

The Minnehaha Depot, the first train station on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, is a former Milwaukee Road depot, located near Minnehaha Falls. Today, visitors can walk on the platform, explore the station’s gingerbread canopy and dream about a bygone era of train travel.

On Sunday afternoons from Memorial Day to Labor Day, visitors can come inside to view exhibits about early railroad history and meet with a volunteer interpreter from the Minnesota Transportation Museum.
