Education

Tourists, schools, scout groups, artists and academics come to learn about American Indian history and culture at the Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post. In addition to field trips, the new Ojibwe Shoulder Bag Activity Kit, available at the Trading Post or online, can engage students in classrooms, youth programs or summer camp. Students of all ages can explore the Ojibwe People's Dictionary, a searchable, talking Ojibwe-English dictionary that features the voices of Ojibwe speakers.

Explore historical resources in the Society's collection to learn more about the history of the Ojibwe people in Minnesota.
