The Forest History Center is handicapped accessible.
Free public parking is available on site. Tour and school buses can also park free on site.
A gift shop is located inside the visitor center. It carries a variety of items related to Minnesota history, forestry and the northwoods. In addition, our shop carries specialty books, woodcarvings and jewelry.
The Forest History Center does not have dining facilities. Snacks and water are available for purchase at the visitor center. Visitors are welcome to enjoy picnics outside at the picnic shelter.

For lost items please call 218-327-4482.
The site is equipped with both first aid kits and AEDs. Please see a staff person for assistance. All managers are trained in first aid/CPR/AED use.
Wireless internet is not available at this time.
Service animals, such as guide dogs are permitted. Pets are not allowed.
